So Justin finally returned from being away for over 6
months and he didn't die, so it was time to make up for lost
time by going on some crazy adventures right off the start.
Here's our story! NOTE YOU CAN CLICK ON THE
IMAGES FOR LARGER ONES AS PER JOE and LINDY's

So Katie had worked on this
cover via crochet while I
was gone as a sweet present
which goes perfectly with
our black and white themed
bedroom! It took her approx
23281904 hours to make!
As a welcome home present from my mom and
Robert, we were picked up in a limo and taken to
the Broadmoor restaurant. We wined and dined and
spent as much money as possible as the tab was
taken care of. I bought 4 Filet's, 5 martinis, 3
lobsters, and a diamond necklace in the gift shop.
Katie was so stunned she turned white as seen in the
picture! JUST KIDDING, we didnt get all that, but
we had an AMAZING Dinner!

We then decided to go camping out
with the dogs in a sweet spot up in
Woodland Park complete with lakes and
woods!

Nash had never swam before, but we
knew he loved water. He jumped in
and then panicked which was
hilarious, but after a few doggie
paddles he got the hang of
swimming...and continued to swim the
rest of the day. I had to throw Sydney
in to get her to swim!

This was the last happy scene before a
huge storm came through complete
with rain, hail, and lightening,
followed by a HUGE drop in
temperature. It was a rough night
sleeping in 20 degree wet weather, but
we made it through. Sadly Syndey
froze and we had to thaw her out for
about an hour in the sun when
daylight broke. We decided we had
had enough camping for awhile and
headed back home!

Ok I know this looks strange, but it is exactly what it
looks like. Yes you guessed it, a hamster ball race at
Petco. I trained our hamster for a good few days. I
got all pumped for the race, and even considered
doping our hamster (but because of lessons learned
from Tour de France we decided best to avoid it
haha). Race time came. I gave the hamster a pep
talk and they were off....except our hamster fell
asleep on the starting line and never moved. It was
a sad sad day for the whole family.
Hiking Colorado with the dogs...Nash carried his own water
|
Katie cashed in on her hot air balloon birthday surprise and away we went
|
Over rooftops we went! It was like we were Peter Pan and Wendy...then we got up to about 8500 ft...We landed in a cow pasture! It was awesome!
|
Nash is a hardcore hiker and is super playful afterwards!
|
Sydney always goes with the flow, she is always happy!
|
Katie and I answered the door on Halloween dressed as Marc Antony and Cleopatra...Sydney was a ghost, Nash was a skeleton, and Bennett was Luigi from Super Mario Bros as seen below
|
Here's Bennett on his trip across America, drinkin a beer, smoking a cigar, swimming in the hot tub, and talking to Matt. It was a hilarious Halloween!

Here is Justin playing
catch. Nash threw it
pretty high, I had to
jump to catch it
Check out the new
sidewalk! I decided to
put it in because Sydney
made it into a dirt path
over the Summer
Katie is feeding a very tall horse an
apple?
Here is Katie cooking away on
Thanksgiving. The turkey was
delicious!
